A pair of modern alternative artists have released collaborations with classic rockers.
St. Vincent is featured on a new recording of the Ringo Starr song "Choose Love." The track will appear on Starr's upcoming album, Long Long Road, due out April 24.
"A fresh take on a classic Ringo Starr track, 'Choose Love' is reimagined with new depth and featuring vocal harmonies from St. Vincent," a newsletter from the Beatles legend reads.
Meanwhile, Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig guests on a new Bruce Hornsby song called "Memory Palace."
"Sometimes people who write a timeless hit search for their next hit, well past the time when it's feasible to have a hit," Koenig says in a statement. "With Bruce, obviously, he's proud of the work he did, but it doesn't define him. That kind of bravery — to push into territory that has very little in common with your best-known work — is inspiring."
"Memory Palace" appears on Hornsby's new album, Indigo Park, out now.
