If you're looking for new music recommendations, Dave Grohl is here for you.
The Foo Fighters frontman gives a shoutout to the Quebec math rock duo Angine de Poitrine during an interview with the Logan Sounds Off podcast.
"It absolutely blew my f****** mind," Grohl says of watching an Angine de Poitrine video. "I don't how to explain it other than you just have to watch these people."
If we were to try and explain Angine de Poitrine, one of the members plays a combination guitar and bass and is continually looping riffs with pedals while the other plays drums. Oh, and they're both wearing elaborate costumes and masks covered in polka dots. It basically looks like if Slipknot was really into Cirque du Soleil.
"It's so completely insane," Grohl says.
Grohl's recommendation comes at a fitting time, as Angine de Poitrine just put out a new album called Vol. II on Friday.
Beyond Angine de Poitrine, we'd guess Grohl would recommend Foo Fighters' own upcoming album, Your Favorite Toy, due out April 24.
