A bus driver in North Carolina named Deona Washington was honored after saving 28 middle school kids from a school bus that caught fire this month. “Ms. Washington is a true hero," Brogden Middle School Principal Anthony White said. "Her instincts and quick actions saved the lives of our students. We are extremely grateful that she is part of the Brogden family.”
