We are thrilled to announce our final "Teachers are Heroes" award recipient of the school year: the legendary Mr. Stephen Giannini, affectionately known by everyone as Mr. G! Mr. G embodies exactly what this award is about. He doesn’t just teach curriculum; he transforms lives, and redefines what it means to be a supportive educator.

What makes Mr. G a true hero is how far he goes outside the standard job description. His weekly trips to Sam’s Club where he spends his own money to keep his classroom fully stocked with snacks for anyone who is hungry. You can regularly find him in the bleachers at high school sporting events cheering on his students, or staying late after school to offer extra help. Whether he is helping a student hunt for a first job, figure out how to buy a car, navigate personal challenges, or just master a difficult lesson, Mr. G never backs down from a student in need. Thank you, Mr. G, for your boundless energy, your giant heart, and your unwavering commitment to our entire school community. You are a true hero!
