Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has announced a new album called Ranjha, a sequel to his 2015 release, Junun.
Like Junun, Ranjha was recorded with Israel musician Shye Ben Tzur and the Indian collective The Rajasthan Express.
"MUSIC is just such a sweet shop," Greenwood says in a statement. "There are so many styles and talents, and it's hard to just stick to one thing, because people are having fun elsewhere – and it looks like fun. That's certainly always been true with Shye and our collaborators from India."
Ranjha is due out May 8. Its title track is out now.
Greewood and Radiohead reconvened at the end of 2025 for their first tour since 2018. His soundtrack for the movie One Battle After Another is nominated for best original score at the 2026 Oscars, airing Sunday on ABC.
